Achievers University Appoints Prof. Oyesoji Aremu as Acting Vice Chancellor

The Governing Council of Achievers University, Owo, Ondo State, has appointed  Professor Oyesoji Aremu as the institution’s Acting Vice Chancellor, effective December 1, 2025, for a tenure of eight months.

Professor Aremu, a distinguished scholar and seasoned university administrator, joined Achievers University on April 2, 2024, as the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic). Before his appointment, he served in the Department of Counselling and Human Development Studies at the University of Ibadan (UI), where he built a reputation as one of Nigeria’s leading voices in security scholarship, human development, and higher education management.

Renowned for his academic excellence and administrative expertise, Aremu’s elevation is widely regarded as a strategic move to strengthen Achievers University’s leadership as it continues its drive toward innovation, academic expansion, and global competitiveness.
