Participants described the gathering as a strategic platform aimed at strengthening the party’s grassroots structures and expanding its political reach ahead of forthcoming electoral activities.
Addressing the stakeholders, Aborisade highlighted the steady progress, unity and organisational growth of the ADC across the state. He emphasised his long-standing commitment to a humanity-centred political ideology, stressing that governance must prioritise the welfare, dignity and socio-economic advancement of the people.
According to him, the ADC remains committed to promoting transparent, accountable and people-oriented leadership capable of addressing the yearnings of the masses.
“The increasing acceptance of the ADC across communities is a clear indication that people desire a new political direction anchored on sincerity, inclusion and purposeful governance,” he said.
He urged party members to remain united, disciplined and focused, noting that internal cohesion was crucial to building a credible alternative to existing political structures in the state.
Presiding over the meeting, the Oyo State Chairman of the ADC, Hon. Yinka Olona, commended members for their dedication and resilience in promoting the party’s ideals. He said the consistent mobilisation of stakeholders at various levels reflected the party’s steady growth and rising profile within Oyo’s political space.
Olona charged party executives to intensify grassroots engagement and strengthen ward structures, stressing that sustained interaction with communities was key to consolidating the party’s expanding influence.
“Our strength lies in our presence at the grassroots. We must continue to engage the people, understand their challenges and offer practical solutions,” he added.
Also in attendance was the ADC Chairman in Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Funsho Owoade, alongside other notable party leaders. They reiterated their commitment to building a formidable political platform capable of offering credible leadership and challenging dominant political forces in the state.
