In his congratulatory message, Adeoye described Raji as “an icon of excellence, a leading light in the legal profession, and a mentor who has nurtured generations of brilliant lawyers.”
Tracing Raji’s distinguished career, Adeoye recalled his formative years at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, his call to the Nigerian Bar at the Lagos Law School in 1988, and his subsequent rise to prominence through brilliance, diligence, and grace.
He noted that as Chairman of the Oke-Ogun Development Consultative Forum (ODCF), Raji has distinguished himself as a globally respected silk with expertise spanning litigation, arbitration, mediation, criminal law, banking, and capital markets. “His life is a testament to the values of hard work, integrity, and resilience,” Adeoye said, adding that Raji’s pursuit of a Master’s degree in Law at King’s College, University of London, was yet another remarkable milestone in his inspiring journey.
Adeoye further praised Raji’s service to Nigeria as a Resident Electoral Commissioner for eight years across five states, where his legal acumen contributed significantly to strengthening democratic governance.
Beyond the courtroom, Adeoye celebrated Raji’s philanthropic spirit, describing it as “unmatched in its reach and impact, from his family compound in Esa-Oke, to Iseyin, Oke-Ogun, and indeed, across Nigeria.”
