The Abiola Ajimobi Technical University (Tech-U), has announced the opening of portal for the 2025/2026 Josephus Foundation Scholarship.
The scholarship, endowed by the Josephus Foundation through the university’s Chancellor, Chief (Dr.) Tunde Afolabi, MFR, is designed to support exceptionally brilliant but indigent students who may otherwise be unable to afford higher education.
According to the institution, the Josephus Foundation Scholarship is merit-based and highly competitive. It is partial, with the foundation covering part of the tuition while beneficiaries enjoy a flexible payment plan spread over two installments. The award is renewable annually for the duration of a beneficiary’s programme, provided recipients maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.50.
Shortlisted candidates will sit for a competitive aptitude test scheduled for Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
1. Be prospective students of Abiola Ajimobi Technical University in the 2025/2026 admission cycle.
2. Have accepted admission, be willing to change to Tech-U, or be under consideration for admission into any of the university’s degree programmes.
3. Score a minimum of 160 in the 2025 UTME.
4. Possess at least five O’Level credits at one sitting, including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology/Agricultural Science/Geography or other relevant subjects.
5. For Direct Entry, hold at least three A’Level credits in relevant subjects or a National Diploma with a minimum of Lower Credit.
6. Pass the university’s Scholarship Screening Examination and maintain a CGPA of at least 3.50 per session to remain eligible for renewal.
Admission Requirements
Admission is open to UTME, Direct Entry (A’Level, JUPEB, IJMB or equivalent) candidates with a minimum UTME score of 160. Applicants must also upload their O’Level results at a JAMB office or accredited CBT centre for admission processing.
The university also offers JUPEB and HND/B.Sc. Conversion Programmes.
