Tentrade Africa has urged traders, partners and financial stakeholders across Nigeria to embrace innovation as a key driver for transforming the country’s trading ecosystem, particularly within the expanding forex market.
This call was made at the organisation’s Ibadan Edition Partnership Conference held at the Golden Tulip Hotel, Oduduwa Hall.
The conference, themed: “Empowering Partnership and Expanding Collaborations,” brought together industry leaders, seasoned traders and aspiring participants to examine new pathways for growth, collaboration and skill development in Nigeria’s evolving trading landscape.
Declaring the event open, Tentrade Africa’s Head of Education, Mr. Martins Chuks, described the summit as “a launch pack for new ideas and bigger partnerships that will reshape the forex industry in Ibadan.” He urged participants to see innovation, not routine practice,as the lever that will reposition the city as a major trading hub.
The event featured technical and motivational sessions by respected experts. Forex professional, Mr. Kehinde Shogeke, explained the organisation’s account structures and trading offerings, while Chuks delivered a session on “Leveraging Funded Trading Opportunities.” He noted that access to capital was no longer a major barrier for committed traders, saying the real challenge is acquiring the skills to trade profitably.
Lagos-based trader, Mr. Raymond Olusola, stressed the importance of “Trust, Transparency and Transformation” in building sustainable trading careers. Another speaker, Mr. Emmanuel Durojaiye, explored “The Business Side of Trading,” emphasising that successful traders must approach the market with a clear business perspective rather than mere speculation.
In a joint keynote, Partnership Manager, Miss Princess Momodu, and Chuks highlighted Tentrade Africa’s partnership programmes, tools and incentive structure. They also announced a lineup of prizes for exceptional partners, reinforcing the organisation’s commitment to rewarding excellence within its network.
Addressing participants, the Managing Director of Tentrade Africa, Mr. Victor Ufot, said financial strength remains central to addressing societal and economic challenges. He explained that the conference was designed not only to teach forex but to show how innovation and purposeful trading can deliver meaningful wealth.
“The purpose of the conference is not just about forex trading but about how every trader can make millions while trading,” he said.
Ufot described the global forex market as “a massive industry just like oil and gas,” insisting that Nigeria and Africa must tap into its transformative potential.
He added that Tentrade Africa is more than a brokerage firm, calling it “a regulated movement” offering prop-firm services and empowering traders to pursue long-term, purpose-driven careers.
Closing the event, Ufot urged participants to master selling as a core entrepreneurial skill.
“Every day you keep buying, then you have to sell to make money. You cannot keep buying without selling. Selling is the secret to achieving the lifestyle you desire,” he said.
He noted that Tentrade Africa provides training to help traders market and monetise their trading products effectively.
