Ere-Ijesa , a town in Oriade Local Government Area of Osun State would be Agog on Thursday , Feb.26, 2026, as the newly constructed Ultra Modern Market tagged , ‘Elere Ajifolokunsaya Market Complex’ is being commissioned amidst pump and pageant.
The ceremony, which comes up early in the day would be witnessing the reading of opening address by High Chief Outside Adenipekun, a former Head of WAEC in Nigeria, while the Chairman’s address is slated to be read by Asiwaju of Ijesaland,Chief Yinka Fasuyi.
Also, after the cutting of the Ribbon ; marking the commissioning of the market ànd a brief Cultural Dance display by Troupe, another speech would be made by Chief Adewale Adeoye, Chief Gbobaniyi of Ere-Ijesa.
Before the Royal Blessing comes from His Royal Majesty(HRM), Oba Augustine Adenipekun, Elere of Ere-Ijesa, the Iyaloja of Ere-Ijesa, Chief (Mrs)Akorede Olorunfemi would be saying a word or two.
Meanwhile, the event of the day would be rounded up with a vote of thanks, coming from Prof.Oyewole Ajifolokun, an America based professor of Animal Medicine and owner of PRINAJ Hotel, Resort and Suites, Ere-Ijesa.
Among the expected guests for the ceremony are His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Osun State, Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, His Imperial Majesty ,Oba Clement Adesuyi, Ajimoko II, Owa Obokun of Ijesaland.
Others include the various Chiefs and illustrious sons and daughters of Ere-Ijesa.
