The 2023 governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress [APC] in Oyo State, Senator Teslim Folarin, on Sunday visited the Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu at his Iyaganku home, Ibadan.
There has been no love lost between the duo, especially since Adelabu moved out of the party to Accord after losing the APC primaries to Folarin in the 2023 contest.
Before the visit, Adelabu had offered apology for not making it to the celebration that heralded Folarin’s elevation to the Agbaakin Olubadan title on Saturday and that he would visit when he returned to the county. Getting information that Adelabu had arrived, Folarin who had been saddled to lead the reconciliation process in the state chapter of the APC, stormed Adelabu’s abode.
The Special Adviser on Media to the Minister, Mr. Tunji Bolaji, confirmed the visit to The Guardian in Ibadan, on Sunday.
‘’He was here in the spirit of reconciliation and to ensure that everyone work together for the APC to get power in 2027’’, Bolaji said.
