Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, has recorded what stakeholders describe as a major institutional revival within the first 100 days of Professor (Mrs.) Ebunoluwa Olufemi Oduwole, FNAL, as Vice Chancellor.

The early days of her administration have been marked by a clear vision, decisive leadership and rapid policy execution, signalling a new direction for the faith-based institution.

Central to her stewardship is a comprehensive agenda targeting academic excellence, ethical governance, administrative efficiency, staff and student welfare, infrastructural development and sustainable growth. University officials say the distinct feature of the agenda is the speed with which it is being implemented.

A major highlight of the administration is the introduction of the “Green Ajayi Crowther University” policy, which places environmental sustainability at the core of campus life. The policy seeks to promote environmental responsibility, community engagement and alignment with global climate and sustainability standards.

The initiative was symbolically reinforced on Saturday, January 10, 2026, when staff and students participated in a campus-wide environmental sanitation walk to mark the Vice Chancellor’s first 100 days in office. The exercise, which attracted wide participation, was described as a demonstration of collective responsibility for a clean and healthy learning environment.

Commenting on the milestone, the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Benjamin Olumuyiwa Popoola, FCIA, MNAL, praised Professor Oduwole’s leadership, describing it as visionary and transformative.

He said the Vice Chancellor had set “a tone of excellence, renewal and responsibility” that promises long-term impact on the university’s growth and relevance.

As expectations continue to rise, members of the university community have expressed confidence that the momentum recorded in the first 100 days will define the remaining years of Professor Oduwole’s tenure.
