Old students laud Tinubu, congratulate Omotayo on  reappointment as NIPSS DG

The Old Students’ Association of African Church Grammar School, Apata Ganga, Ibadan Old Students’ Association has congratulated Ayo Omotayo on his reappointment as Director-General of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS).

In a congratulatory message issued on Friday in Ibadan, the association said the reappointment by Bola Ahmed Tinubu reflects Omotayo’s exemplary leadership and outstanding contributions to the institute since he assumed office.

The message, signed by the National General Secretary of the association, Ayotunde Ayodiran, noted that Omotayo’s administrative competence and scholarly accomplishments had helped position NIPSS as a leading institution in policy research and leadership development.

According to the association, the renewal of his tenure underscores confidence in his ability to further strengthen the institute’s role in nurturing leaders and shaping public policy in Nigeria.

“The reappointment no doubt underscores your exemplary leadership as an astute administrator and erudite scholar with rare organisational acumen, which has propelled the prestigious institute to greater heights since you assumed the helm of affairs,” the association said.

It added that the development aligns with the belief that outstanding performance often attracts greater responsibility in service to the nation.

The association also expressed optimism that Omotayo, a distinguished alumnus of African Church Grammar School, Apata Ganga, Ibadan, would continue to leverage his experience in academia and public administration to enhance the institute’s contribution to national development.

Members further prayed for wisdom, grace and strength for him to excel in the new tenure and advance the institute to greater heights.

The association reiterated its pride in Omotayo’s achievements and urged him to continue upholding the values and legacy of the school.
