The pan-Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere, has congratulated His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, on his ascension to the throne as the Olubadan of Ibadanland, praying for a reign marked by peace, progress, and prosperity.
This was part of the resolutions reached at a Caucus Meeting held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at the Akure residence of the group’s leader, Chief Reuben Famuyide Fasoranti . The meeting was presided over by Oba Olu Falae , Chairman of the Executive Committee.

The meeting was attended by Afenifere leaders and elders.
In a communique issued by the National Publicity Secretary, Jare Ajayi, Afenifere expressed hope that Yorubaland and the Yoruba people would continue to move forward, empowered by unity, cultural pride, and purposeful leadership.
“We are hopeful that the Yorubas and Yorubaland will continue to move ever forward by the grace of the Almighty God,” the communique read.
