In a meeting in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, the old students and the elders, led by Justice Shoremi , prayed that God would grant his aspiration to lead the state as Governor in 2027.
While introducing Chief Aborisade to the gathering, Dr Ladipo said: ‘’He is contesting for the governorship on the platform of the PDP. I want to present him to you’’.
While praying for the governorship aspirant, Justice Shoremi said: ‘’ By the special grace of God I am presenting him for your blessings. You are going to be a pride to us. That office you want you shall get there. Nothing will stop you from getting there. God will grant that your heart desires to govern the state. Elders prayed for the actualisation of the project. We must hold this as our project. You will get there. Speak to your children, friends and family members. By God’s grace you will become Oyo State Governor’’.
