A chieftain of the Oyo State All Progressives Congress (APC) and a member of Ibadan North Local government Area Renewed Hope Ambassadors Tour Media Committee, Dr. Olubunmi Sodipo has assured the state’s party faithful that they will get the full benefits of delivering massive votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the coming 2027 General Elections.
Sodipo gave this assurance during a visit to the critical stakeholder’s meeting of the Avant Garde Group of the All Progressives Congress held at the Egbeda Local Government Party Secretariat, Iwo Road, Ibadan on Sunday.
The Ibadan North LGA Renewed Hope Ambassadors Tour Media Committee member, while encouraging Oyo State APC members to put behind them the disappointment of the 2023 Gubernatorial Election loss, noted that the conditions and circumstances that led to the loss have ceased to exist.
He said, “The shenanigans and the horse trading, at the national level which accompanied the 2023 elections, affecting Oyo State, and placing faithful party members at a disadvantage have been laid to rest. 2027 is a new start on a clean slate”.
He added, “The message of unity, peace and harmony from Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to Oyo State APC through the Oyo State Renewed Hope Ambassador, Senator Teslim Folarin, has been taken to the 14 Federal Constituencies in the state. Our party leaders, critical stakeholders and members across the state are now working together as one and in one purpose. “
Assuring the Avant Garde Group members that the Oyo State APC will deliver massive votes for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election and sweep the state polls from the top to bottom, the politician who is also an academic, encouraged the group members to key into the Oyo State Renewed Hope Agenda programme as it unfolds, towards a united and concerted electoral effort, and being sure of getting the rewards of their labours in 2027.
Earlier, Chairman of Avant Garde, Tayo Olatunji, the Liaison Officer, Sulaiman Lawal, two powerful women of the group, Monsurat Oyewole-Isiaka and Madam Taiwo Obideyi while commending the visiting party chieftain, called on the APC to remain focused, committed and united, pledging to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election, and that of all other confirmed party candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
Others in attendance at the meeting include the Secretary, Samuel Oluwafemi Ogundiran; Chief Media & Strategy Officer, Olawale Kunle; Public Relations Officer, Kabir Isiaka, and other key executives and members.
