He is expected to formally hand over to Tunji Disu, the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex, Alagbon, Lagos.

A senior police source disclosed that Egbetokun was informed of the decision during a meeting at the Villa.

“He was told to go and prepare his handover notes. I believe he has done that already and will be handing over to Tunji Disu,” the source said.

There is no public official statement from the authorities at the time of filling this report.
