Speaking ahead of the ceremony, the Chancellor of the university, Bishop Taiwo Adelakun, said the institution was committed to raising graduates equipped with sound academic knowledge, moral values and the fear of God.
Adelakun stressed that investment in young people was essential to Nigeria’s development, adding that universities had a responsibility to prepare graduates for leadership and the task of addressing societal challenges.
