Emmanuel Alayande University of Education (EAUE), Oyo, will on Friday, December 12, 2025, commence a series of activities to celebrate its third Foundation Day Ceremony, with events scheduled across four days.
According to the programme of events released through the Deputy Vice Chancellor and Chairman of the University Ceremony Committee, Prof. Ibrahim Olatunde Salawu, and the Registrar, Mrs. Olubunmi Siju Asunmo, the anniversary will open with a Jumat Service at the university mosque on Friday.
The celebration continues on Sunday, December 14, with a Church Service at the University Chapel, marking the formal thanksgiving segment of the ceremony.
On Monday, December 15, the institution will host an Alumni Lecture at 10:00 a.m., followed by an anniversary drama presentation at 2:00 p.m., while a cocktail party will round off the day’s activities at 5:00 p.m.
The highlight of the anniversary comes up on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, when the university holds its Main Foundation Day Ceremony, incorporating the award of certificates to National Certificate in Education (NCE) graduates from the last 20 years—those who completed their programmes between 2005 and 2025.
The institution described the milestone as a celebration of growth, consolidation and the strengthening of its mandate as a dedicated centre for teacher education in Oyo State and Nigeria.
