High Chief Chris Olatubara Ikutiminu, a respected community leader, philanthropist and patriarch, will be laid to rest in his hometown of Ikale, Okitipupa area of Ondo State.
According to the family, a Christian wake-keeping service will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, while the final burial ceremony is scheduled for Friday, April 10, 2026, in Ikale, Okitipupa.
The late Ikutiminu, widely regarded as a moral voice and a pillar of his community, is remembered for his lifelong commitment to service, generosity and the wellbeing of others. His passing marks the end of an era for many within and beyond Ikale land, where he was known for his quiet but impactful contributions to community development and humanitarian causes.
He is survived by his wives, children and grandchildren, who described him as a devoted family man whose life was anchored on strong values, compassion and integrity.
