In a statement issued by its Presidential Spokesperson, Alao John Oluwadamilola, the association described Fagbenro Bibire as a leader whose interventions go beyond political ambition, noting that his initiatives have directly improved the lives of students and communities.
The student body particularly highlighted his commitment to educational support programmes, including the provision of free JAMB registration forms to indigent students, a move it said has reduced barriers to tertiary education for many young Nigerians.
It also commended his payment of WAEC and NECO examination fees for students, describing the gesture as a demonstration of his dedication to ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder access to basic educational qualifications.
According to NANS, these interventions reflect a genuine passion for youth development rather than political expediency. It added that through his foundation and outreach programmes, Fagbenro Bibire has continued to promote education as a critical tool for societal transformation and national development.
Beyond education, the association applauded his infrastructural interventions in communities, including the installation of solar-powered lighting systems, which have improved security and enhanced economic activities in various localities.
It further noted that his efforts to provide access to clean and potable water have addressed critical needs in underserved communities, contributing to improved public health and overall quality of life.
NANS stressed that effective leadership should be defined by measurable impact, responsiveness and a strong connection with the people, adding that Fagbenro Bibire embodies these qualities through a service-driven and inclusive leadership style.
The association called on leaders at all levels to emulate such initiatives by investing in programmes that directly benefit students and promote national development.
It reaffirmed its commitment to promoting accountability, good governance and student-centred policies, while recognising individuals who demonstrate excellence in service delivery.
The association added that Fagbenro Bibire’s track record continues to inspire confidence in purposeful leadership and serves as a model for effective representation.
