The General Overseer of Victory International Church, Bishop Taiwo Adelakun, has urged Christians to imbibe the habit of praising God and selfless service towards God’s projects to boost their personal and spiritual all-round wealth.
Bishop Adelakun stated this while dedicating a new church, His Pavilion Christian Centre, located at Dizengoff Area, Kolapo Isola Estate, Ibadan.
In his sermon, Bishop Adelakun said wealth manifests through praises and rendering selfless service to God and humanity.
The cleric noted that Christian faithful who lack the spirit of generosity to God and humanity had missed the right direction to achieving economic progress.
Earlier, in an address, the Lead Pastor of His Pavilion Christian Centre ,HPCC, Reverend Niyi Dahunsi, said the completion of the new church within a year was divine and full of testimonies, hence the name Miracle Land. He said his life is dedicated to see men and women thrive in God.
Reverend Dahunsi, who is also the Deputy Director, Programmes, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria ,FRCN, Ibadan, was full of gratitude to God for fulfilling His words. He said the event was a personal double celebration as the church dedication coincided with his birthday.
Highlights of the church dedication included rendition of special songs, thanksgiving, cutting of birthday cake, and special prayers for the Lead Pastor of the church, Reverend Niyi Dahunsi, his family and church.
