The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate in the Ibadan North Federal Constituency bye-election, Mrs. Olajumoke Odususi, has applauded the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security operatives for the smooth conduct of the poll.
Odususi, who cast her vote at Ward 05, Unit 05 in the Basorun area of Ibadan North Local Government, expressed satisfaction with the early commencement of voting and the peaceful atmosphere at the polling centre.
“I commend INEC for the early arrival of materials and officials, as well as the security operatives for their professional conduct. There is peace and order here today, and this represents a brighter future for the country,” she said.
The APGA candidate further urged the adoption of electronic voting in subsequent elections, stressing that it would enhance transparency, efficiency, and public confidence in Nigeria’s electoral process.
