Former Deputy Governor and Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant in Oyo State, Barrister Hazeem Gbolarumi, on Friday rejoiced with Muslims across the state on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitri 2026, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement personally signed and made available to journalists in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, Gbolarumi congratulated Muslim faithful for their steadfastness, discipline, and devotion throughout the fasting period.
Gbolarumi urged Muslims not to relent in their prayers and acts of charity.The former deputy governor called on the faithful to seek divine guidance for the continued peace, progress, and prosperity of Oyo State.
He added that only through sincere devotion and shared commitment can lasting development and harmony be achieved. Gbolarumi maintained that leaders must remain accountable and responsive to the needs of citizens, while also working tirelessly to improve living standards and promote inclusive growth.He expressed optimism that with continued prayers, unity, and collective responsibility, Oyo State would witness greater peace, stability, and development in the years ahead.
