Ikutiminu Family Announces Funeral Rites for Chris Olatubara Ikutiminu

The family of the late Chris Olatubara Ikutiminu has released details of his funeral arrangements, with activities scheduled to hold across Lagos and Ondo states between April 7 and April 10, 2026.

According to the programme, a Service of Songs will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Redemption Parish, 6th Avenue, Festac Town, Lagos, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Funeral activities will continue on Thursday, April 9, 2026, with a lying-in-state at St. Luke’s Anglican Church Hall, Ilamoye, Ijesha, Lagos, between 6:30 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. This will be followed by a commendation service at the same venue from 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.

Later that day, the remains of the deceased will be moved to his hometown in Ondo State, where a wake-keeping is scheduled to take place at his residence, No. 1 Olatubara Avenue, Ode-Aye via Okitipupa, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

On Friday, April 10, 2026, a lying-in-state will be held at St. Christopher’s Anglican Church, Ode-Aye, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., followed by the funeral and thanksgiving service at 10:00 a.m.

Interment will take place immediately after the service at All Saints Anglican Church, Ode-Aye, with a reception for guests to follow.

The family noted that the series of events will provide an opportunity for friends, associates, and well-wishers to pay their last respects to the deceased.
