A lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication at KolaDaisi University, Ibadan, Oyo State, Prof. Ojo has built an academic career spanning teaching, research and administration across several higher institutions.

Before joining KolaDaisi University, he taught at Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijebu-Ode, and Southwestern University, Okun-Owa, Ogun State, where he contributed to the development of students and the advancement of communication education.

His commitment to academic administration has also seen him take on several leadership responsibilities at KolaDaisi University. Between 2017 and 2025, he served in various capacities, including Acting Head of the Department of Mass Communication, Acting Dean of Student Affairs and Examination Officer in the Faculty of Arts, Management and Social Sciences.

These responsibilities, alongside his participation in various university committees, have strengthened his reputation as a scholar who combines academic knowledge with institutional service.

Prof. Ojo has also distinguished himself through research and scholarly publications. He has published numerous articles in reputable national and international journals, with his scholarly works indexed on platforms including Google Scholar and ResearchGate.

His commitment to professional development is equally evident in his membership of leading academic and professional bodies. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Policy Management and Leadership Development (IPMLD) and a member of Association of Media and Communication Researchers of Nigeria (AMCRON) and Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), among others.

It is against this background of scholarship, professional engagement and academic leadership that Prof. Ojo serves as the Oyo State Coordinator of ACSPN, a role that places him at the centre of efforts to strengthen communication scholarship and professional practice in the state.

As ACSPN continues to promote collaboration among communication scholars and professionals, foster research, encourage knowledge exchange and strengthen the relationship between communication academia and professional practice, leaders such as Prof. Ojo provide an important link between scholarship, institutional leadership and professional development.

His role in ACSPN also reflects the association’s broader commitment to creating platforms where scholars and communication professionals can engage, collaborate and contribute meaningfully to national development.

Currently, Prof. Ojo serves as the Dean, School of Postgraduate Studies, KolaDaisi University, Ibadan, where he continues to contribute to postgraduate education, research and academic development.

His career demonstrates that academic leadership goes beyond occupying positions. It involves mentoring others, advancing knowledge, supporting institutions and creating opportunities for the next generation of scholars and communication professionals.

Through his work at KolaDaisi University and his service to ACSPN, Prof. Titiloye Ojo represents a generation of communication scholars committed to excellence in teaching, research, professional practice and leadership.

For ACSPN, his story is also a reflection of the association’s growing community of scholars and professionals who are using their expertise to strengthen communication education, research and practice in Nigeria.
