Today, with hearts filled with gratitude to Almighty God and profound love, we remember and celebrate the beautiful life of our dearly beloved mother, Chief Princess Theresa Mojirade Adeagbo, whose glorious transition to eternal rest occurred one year ago.

Though the pain of your physical absence still lingers, we choose today not merely to mourn your departure but to celebrate a life of remarkable purpose, unwavering faith, unconditional love, and selfless service. You lived a life that was truly impactful, a life devoted to God, family, community, and humanity.

You were an extraordinary woman of grace, wisdom, dignity, humility, and uncommon strength. As a devoted Christian, your faith in God was the foundation upon which you built your life. Through every season, you trusted God wholeheartedly, teaching us by example that true success is measured not by wealth or status, but by integrity, compassion, kindness, and obedience to God’s will.

As a mother, you were our greatest blessing. Your love knew no limits, your sacrifices were countless, and your encouragement gave us the courage to pursue our dreams. You nurtured us with patience, discipline, wisdom, and prayers that continue to shield and guide us even in your absence. You taught us the values of honesty, hard work, respect, forgiveness, perseverance, and generosity.
The seeds of character you planted in our lives continue to bear lasting fruit.

You possessed a rare gift of making everyone feel welcomed, valued, and loved. Your home was a sanctuary of warmth, peace, laughter, and hospitality. Family members, neighbours, friends, and strangers alike found comfort in your words, kindness in your actions, and hope in your unwavering support.
You gave without expecting anything in return, always placing the needs of others above your own.

Your leadership and contributions within the community earned you admiration and respect. You carried your responsibilities with humility and honour, leaving behind a legacy of service, fairness, and compassion that will continue to inspire generations yet unborn.
Even after one year, your memories remain vivid in our hearts.

We remember your radiant smile that brightened every room, your gentle voice that calmed troubled hearts, your wise counsel that helped us navigate life’s challenges, and your steadfast prayers that strengthened our faith.
We miss your laughter, your comforting embrace, your reassuring words, and the countless little acts of love that made every day special.

Although death has separated us physically, it has not diminished the influence of your life. Your values live on in us, your children, grandchildren, family members, and everyone privileged to know you. Every lesson you taught, every prayer you offered, every act of kindness you extended, and every life you touched continues to echo through time.

As we commemorate this first anniversary of your transition, we thank God for the precious gift of your life. We are grateful for every moment we shared with you and for the priceless legacy you left behind. While we long to see you again, we take comfort in the assurance that you now rest peacefully in the presence of our Lord and Saviour, free from pain and sorrow, clothed in everlasting glory.

Dear Mum, your journey on earth may have ended, but your story continues through us. We honour your memory by striving to uphold the virtues you embodied and the principles you cherished. We pray that God grants us the grace to live lives worthy of your example until we meet again in eternity.

You may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. Your love remains our guiding light, your memories our treasured inheritance, and your legacy our enduring inspiration.

May your memory continue to be a blessing, and may God grant us the strength, comfort, and peace as we honour your life today.

Continue to rest peacefully in the bosom of the Almighty until the resurrection morning.

Forever loved. Forever cherished. Forever remembered.

Your loving children, grandchildren, family, and all lives you touched.
